ITAMAE SUSHI

Not much of the atmosphere where we sat, but appreciate the fast service and English speaking staff.

This restaurant offered lunch set menu in addition to the main a la carte. It's available in English, Chinese and Korean. Staff did not have any fluency in spoken English. They didn't know what was wrong with the free WiFi connection. However, they were friendly and attentive. We could order our food items without any difficulty.As for the food quality, it was much higher than those available in the Tsukiji Fish Market restaurants. They were flavorful and tasty. For lunch combo, free salad and miso soup was offered. The price set was reasonable. Quite value for the money spent.

Great blue fin tuna here. They are so welcoming and friendly too.

Very good salmon and tuna. Also loved that you can get a take away from here but unfortunately they won't let you do a tempura carry out. Still good though!

The sushi was very good and delivered very fast. The staff is very friendly. Pay attention, there is an extra 300yen charge for some additional appetizer when you order b anything alcoholic.

I'm vegetarian so I can only talk about veggie sushi. The options that do exist are very good. Fresh and tasty. Order the avocado rolls! You won't regret it! ;)

Lively place for sushi, sashimi with proper seats or counter area. Overall I love Tuna sashimi & sushi here. Others menu is just good. This is the place for sushi lover but not for grilled menu.

Outstanding fresh sushi, very reasonably priced. Everything on the menu was excellent, and we sampled it widely! Highly recommend the anago, bluefin tuna assortment, minced otoro, broiled tuna cheek, and saga beef!

They really hold up to their company motto of serving better bluefin than their competitors (at least the ones in a similar price range, and even the ones a bit above thier own!). Matcha drink was also good and it was fun to finally try some pressed sushi, which fit perfectly with the chewier texture of the Shime-Saba, the only piece you can get it with

Great quality sushi for a reasonable price. The blue fin tuna set is my favorite - you can’t go wrong with it! If you order a set, you also get a miso soup and salad with it.

Delicious sushi and exceptional service. Prices are mid-range and fair. Atmosphere is cosy but plenty of seating options for singles, groups and families. English and Japanese menus available. Extensive menu with a variety of eating options for all. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious sushi with an out of this world quality (like all places I went to in Tokyo actually), not that pricey and very quick service. Size of sushi is sometimes surprisingly big, beware when ordering. Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. A poor choice of desserts unfortunately

Tried a variety of sushi and other raw seafood dishes, all fresh and wonderfully prepared. Sake also lived up to its name 🙂 recommended by a local and certainly for good reason!

Best sushi I ever had and I'm not a sushi fan (outside Japan). Finish with Bluefin fattiest tuna. Clean your palette before and eat nothing after.

Love their food and their quality. And the fact that they allow takeout. Friendly staff took our order in English.Assisted us well when I requested for fully cooked food. Its awesome that the restaurant dont allow smoking too.

Great ambiance and good quality of sushi, I came here with a good friend that we haven’t see for a long time. This is definitely a good place to have 1-1 conversation and enjoy the good quality of sushi. I will definitely come back next time.

Highly recommend. Great sushi. The Hida beef sashimi is totally worth it. The miso soup comes with crab. Try the local beers.

A lot of choices, and good value. Service is blindingly fast. Go for individual pieces rather than the set meals to try new things. Went twice, excellent both times.

The sushi is fresh and made before your eyes, all for a very reasonable price. In fact, a 3,5 rating is probably more accurate. What stops me is a simple prejudice against anything that goes out of its way to cater to tourists, and Itamea Sushi has done just that. So no crime at all if you are a tourist and the English menus and service are all recommended in that case, but it does mean mayonnaise might pop up on your sushi or that you can order a meat side dish in a sushi restaurant!

Best sushi chefs in the area. Really fresh products, really nice atmosfere, fair prices. What do you have to know is that they will charge you with 300Â¥ for the seat, which is peanuts for what you will receive. Oishi... Arigato!

Fantastic sushi. The rolls are wonderful. The seaweed wrap that they use is fresh and moist. Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants I've tried so far.

Itamae is a consistently tasty and reasonably-priced sushi place. Consistent between outlets, with efficient and helpful service. I would recommend the tuna platter, which gets you three different grades of tuna along with fatty belly maki and hand roll.
